Dr. Lager was one of the speakers at the 10-year "Runiversary" of Run Farther and Faster, a running organization in northern Virginia. The event, which was held in February 2020, provided education, resources, and support to distance runners. Dr. Lager spoke on mental strategies for runners to implement to get the most out of their race.

Dr. Chelsey Bowman (she/her) is a licensed clinical psychologist and sport psychologist in the Division of Psychology and Behavioral Health at Children's National Hospital and an Assistant Professor of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences and of Pediatrics at the George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences in Washington, DC. She provides services through the Safe Concussion Outcome Recovery & Education (SCORE) Program, Sports Medicine Department, and Pediatric Pain Medicine Program. Dr. Bowman currently sees children, adolescents, and young adults through her work at Children’s National Hospital.
